  <p>Information: Matthew J. Halstead, age 94, 2209 Monroe Ave., St. Albans, died early Tuesday morning.  Halstead and his wife, Cora A., were former residents of Ravenswood.  They were married for 74 years and would have celebrated their 75 anniversary in October.  Survivors, in addition to his widow, are: sons, Ashley J., South Charleston, Ira R., Lakeworth, Fla., Cecil B., Denver, Colo., E. Huston, Scott Depot; daughters, Mrs. Opal Scott, St. Albans, Mrs. Mildred E. Gillespie, Ravenswood and Madelyn Armstrong, Miami, Fla.; a sister, Annie Clendenin, Peytona; and 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.  Burial in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.</p>
