  <p>Information: Thelma Jean Hall, 58, of Houston, Texas, died Jan. 31, 1996 after a short illness.  She was born September 15, 1937 in Elkhorn City, Ky., a daughter of the late George Hall and Buna Portter Hall.  She is survived by one daughter, Yuconda Hampton of Beckley; one brother, George Hall, Jr. of Ravenswood; and half brother, Ray Maynard of Paintsville, Ky.; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.   She was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Borchert.  Services Friday, Feb. 9, 1996 at 1:00 p.m. at Parsons Funeral Home with the Rev. Herman Robinson officiating.  Burial in Shamblin Cemetery, Romance, Jackson County, W. Va. Visitation 1 hour prior to services.</p>
