Information: Death Takes M. E. Hall Funeral services were held yesterday at the Our Saviour Lutheran Church for Merlin E. Hall, 92, Ravenswood, who died Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital after a long illness.  He was born in Meigs County, Ohio, Sept. 29, 1872, a son of Basil and Elizabeth Cline Hall.  He was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church and Masonic Lodge 164, Pomeroy, Ohio.  He was a 50-year member of the Pomeroy Masonic Lodge.  He received a 50-year pin seven years ago.  He was a retired merchant, having been in the grocery business for 37 years.  Surviving are his widow, Mary E. Hall; a son, John H. Hall, Ravenswood; and a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Phillips, Ravenswood.  Interment in the the Ravenswood Cemetery with graveside Masonic rites.   (Jackson Herald 1/29/65)  HALL SERVICES HELD IN RAVENSWOOD - Funeral services for Merlin E. Hall, 92, of Ravenswood, will be held today (Wednesday) in the Lutheran Church at Ravenswood by the Rev. G. C. Weirick and the Rev............Mr. Hall died Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital in Parkersburg after a long illness. He was a retired merchant and a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Ravenswood, the Masonic Lodge at Pomeroy, Ohio, and received his 50-year pin three years ago from the Ravenswood Lodge.  Surviving are his widow, Mary E.; a son, John H., Ravenswood Elementary School principal; a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Phillips of Ravenswood.  Burial will be in the Ravenswood cemetery with Masonic graveside rites.  Chambers Funeral Home in Ravenswood is in charge of arrangements.
