  <p>Information: RAVENSWOOD - Edgar L. Hall, 83, of Ravenswood, departed this world on August 31, 2011 at Jackson General Hospital.  Edgar was born March 3, 1928 in Morgantown, the son of Dwight L. Hall and Pearle Johnson Hall.  He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Ravenswood; 50 year member of Ashton Lodge #12 AF&AM; 35 year businessman in heating & cooling; 50 year member of South Fork Grange; and State Grange Master for 21 years.  He enjoyed wood-working and gardening.  Surviving is his wife of 65 years, Betty, Ravenswood; sister, Alice Spitznogle, Waynesville OH; brothers, David and Mary, Paw Paw IL, Melvin and Nancy, Weirton WV, Ron and Angie, Powder Springs GA, and Gary, Chico CA; granddaughter, Tammy Muzzie, Zephyr Hills FL; two great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, a son, Lynn, who passed away on April 11, 1979; sisters, Mary Howard and Linda; and step-mother, Ruby, preceded him in death.         Funeral service is 2 pm, Saturday, September 3, at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood with the Reverend Jim Plyburn.  Burial will follow in the Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville.  Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Friday, Septemer 2, from 6 to 8 pm and one hour prior to service on Saturday.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, 719 Flinn Street, Ravenswood WV 26164, or the American Lung Association in West Virginia, P.
