Information:                 The body of Pvt. Charles B. Hall, son of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Hall of Kenna, arrived at the Parsons Funeral Home in Ripley yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon and the funeral service will be held at the Hickory Grove Church at Kenna Easter Sunday afternoon with Rev. Roy W. Fisher officiating and the Veterans of Foreign Wars will conduct military ceremonies.  Pvt. Hall, who fought with General Patton’s forces in the invasion of Europe, was wounded at Verviers, Belgium on Sept. 9, 1944 and died the following day.   He was serving as a radio technician in a tank division.  Survivors in addition to the parents are four brothers, George of Charleston and Elmer, James and Michael Hall, all of Kenna, and five sisters, Mrs. Frances Sheets of Dexter, Ohio, Mrs. Delphia Lanham of Charleston, Mrs. Virginia Miller, Jane Hall and Joan Hall, all of Kenna.  (Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection)
