Information: Charles B. Hall, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Hall, of Kenna, ws bor at Moundsville, on March 28, 1925, and during World War II served in a Tank Division , was with the U.S. Military Forces which landed on the Normandy beaches and participated in General George Patton's drive and was serving as a radio technician. He was wounded at Verviers, Belgium, on September 9, 1944 and died the following day at the age of 19 years, five months and 12 days. Surviving are the prents, Mr. and Mrs. George L. Hall; four brothers, George Hall of Charleston, Elmer Hall, James Hall and Michael Hall, all of Kenna, and five sisters, Mrs. Frances Sheets of Dexter, Ohio, Mrs. Delphia Lanham of Charleston, Mrs. Virginia Miller and Jane and Joan Hall, all of Kenna. Final resting place Fairplain Cemetery, Fairplain, Jackson County, West Virginia.
