Information: Wade A. Balser, 81, of Goodlettsville, formerly of Ripley, died October 3, 1996, in Nashville Memorial Hospital.  Preceded in death by his wife, Flossie Balser.  He was retired from Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp. and was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Ripley.  Surviving:  son and daughter-in-law, J. D. and Mary Balser of Goodlettsville; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.  Services were Monday at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Hubert Groves officiating.   Funeral was in Fairplain Cemetery.
