Information: Almon M. (Bud) Hall, 61, of Ravenswood, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 1990, at the Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, after a short illness. He was born in Beckley, a son of the late Horace M. and Elizabeth Margaret Barker Hall. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Ravenswood, a graduate of Greenbrier Military Academy in Lewisburg, and retired from Kaiser Aluminum with 23 years of service. He was a member of the Cottageville Masonic Lodge No. 54, a 32nd degree Scotish Rite Mason, and a member of the Moose Club 731, Point Pleasant. He was a member of the Old and New Sports Archery Club, Ravenswood, a member of the 167th Air Squadron Club, secretary/treasurer of the W. Va. Square Dance Region 5; a member of the Sternwheel Square Dance Club in Ravenswood. He is survived by his wife, Gayle B. Hall; three sons, Alan Hall of Ripley, Kent Hall with the U. S. Air Force in Okinawa, Japan, and Lane Hall of Millville, Ga.; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dee Ann, in 1971. Services were Monday at the First United Methodist Church, Ravenswood, with the Rev. Dan Hogan officiating. Masonic graveside rites were at the Ravenswood Cemetery. Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood, was in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
