  <p>Information: RIPLEY -  Jefferson C. Hackney, 82, of Ripley, died August 3, 2006, at Eldercare of West Virginia.  He was born July 3, 1924, in Jackson County, the son of the late Joseph A. Hackney and Ina Belle Searels Hackney.  He retired from the housekeeping department of Jackson General Hospital.  Survivors include his sons, Charles Hackney of Sandyville and Roger Hackney of Ripley; daughter, Joyce Bodkin of Pinch; grandchildren, Roger, Stacy, Michelle, Lori, Mark and Chad; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Levi, Zachary, Benjamin, Kirsten and Noah. Funeral services were to be held Sunday August 6, 2006, at the Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood.  Burial followed at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Ripley.  Online condolences may be expressed to the Hackney family at roush!us2000@yahoo.com.</p>
