Information: Arden Groves of Jackson Heights community, Jane Lew, died at home after a long illness.  He was the father of Juanita Conrad of Ripley.  He was a retired coal miner with the R&P Coal Co., and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy at Stouts Mills.  Also surviving; wife, Virginia Josephine Drake Groves; sons, James Edward of Cortland, Ohio, and Kenneth L. of Glenville; daughter, Mrs. Glada Conrad of Buckhannon; brothers, Frances O, of Winter Park, Fla., and J.B. Groves of Stouts Mills; sister Madaline Lee of Buckhannon; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Burial was in Dusk Camp Church of God Cemetery, Gilmer County.
