  <p>Information: Gerald Balser died December 11, 2003 in Hanahan, SC.  Mr. Balser, widower of Lorraine Ankrum Balser, was born March 5, 1916 in Flatwoods, Jackson County, a son of Jacob and Mary Skinner Balser.  He attended Northside Baptist Church and was a retired school teacher and dairy farmer in Ohio.   Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Curtis G. and Marilyn Balser, of Colombus; five daughters and son-in-law, Marilyn and Reverend John Stevens of Hanahan, SC, Christina and Greg Balsano of Riverside, CA, Deanna and James Baldwin of Riverside, CA, Linda and Reverend Brian Barber of Santa Maria, CA, and Lena Nd Reverend Wayne Dueck of Santa Maria, CA; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Service at Newark Chapel of Henderson Van Att & Johnson Funeral Home.  Private burial followed.      	 </p>
