  <p>Information: -TUPPERS PLAINS, OH - Merle C. Griffith of Tuppers Plains, Ohio, age 86, passed away Friday, March 11, 2005 at Camden- Clark Hospital in Parkersburg.  She was born November 8, 1918 in Jackson County, daughter of the late James and Ruth Corns.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was active in the Church of Christ as well as several clubs.  She is survived by one brother, Richard Corns of Ravenswood; son, Joseph R. Griffith and wife , Crystal, of Kittanning, PA; two grandchildren, Chad Griffith of Tuppers Plains, Ohio and Heather Dye of Parkersburg and their mother, Cheryl Miller; step-grandson, Robert Campbell and wife, Janet; four great-grandchildren and a very close friend, Judith Washburn.  In addition to her husband, Kenneth R. Griffith, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Nole, William, Gilbert, Carl and Hugh Corns; two sisters, Ernestine Johnson and Bessie Higgins. A funeral service was held Monday, March 14, 2005, at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley.  Burial was in the Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.</p>
