Information: Mrs. Mattie B. Greene, 75, wife of P. C. Greene, widely known farmer of the Kenna section, died suddenly at St. Joseph's Hospital in Parkersburg last Thursday evening.  She had undergone an operation several days previously and was believed to be recovering satisfactorily until a short time before her death when her condition became critical.  The body was brought to Vail Mortuary in Ripley and prepared for burial and was taken to the Kenna home Saturday afternoon.  Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church at Kenna Sunday afternoon with the Rev. E. E. White of the Dudley Avenue Baptist Church of Parkersburg in charge and burial was in the Fairplain cemetery.   Mrs. Greene, who was a daughter of Michael and Emily McCoy Crow, leaves her husband; two sons, Carroll Greene of Kenna and Victor Greene of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Agnes Waskey of Sandyville; one brother, William Crow of Silverton, and three grandchildren, Benny, Martha and Mary Jo Greene.
