Information: Funeral services for Emma Jane Greene were held at the Fairview Church.  Burial was in the church cemetery.  Mrs. Greene died at Jackson General Hospital.  She was born at Kenna and was a daughter of Eli and Elizabeth Simmons, pioneer residents of that community.  She was a member of the Fairview EUB Church and Ladies Aid and the Rebekah Lodge, and was the last member of the Eli Simmons family.  Surviving: sons, Basil of Ripley and Ray and Willard, both of Given; daughter, Mrs. Fay Weaver of Akron, Ohio, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
