  <p>Information: William Davidson Greathouse, of Ripley, and formerly of Spencer and Akron, Ohio, died at the Roane General Hospital in Spencer following a long illness.  For the past 12 years he had resided with a daughter and son-in-law, Ray and Fay Archer in Ripley.  He was born in Roane County, son of the late W.D. and Charity Bowers Greathouse.  He was a retired carpenter and had taught school in Roane County at one time.  In addition to his daughter and son-in-law, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Rosa B. Morris and Mrs. May Bowers, both of Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. Delphia Sparks of Orlando, Fla.  Burial wa in the Greathouse Cemetery near Spencer.</p>
