Geneva Moore Grealis peacefully passed away at home June 2, 2004, to meet her Lord and loved ones, with her children by her side as she made her departure into Heaven. The sons and daughters would like to express their heartful thanks to Kanawha Hospice Care for the love and care given to our mother over the past three weeks. Without their love and support, we could not have gone through this alone. To her sister, Evelyn, for her tireless vigil at our mother's bedside for many weeks, our sincere love to her. Geneva was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, South Charleston, an avid bowler and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a waitress for many years. Surviving are her children: Charles Grealis of Parkersburg, William Grealis of Campbells Creek, Marie Grealis of Ravenswood, Mildred Hinkle of Monroe NC; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Adkins of Ravenswood; and several nieces and nephews. A service was held Friday, June 4, at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Reverend Paul Morrison officiating. Burial followed in the Ravenswood Cemetery.
