Information: Elmer Lee Grady, 79, of Joe's Run Community, Sandyville, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 3, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born July 4, 1933 in Jackson County, a son of the late Carl and Mildred Lupardus Grady.  Elmer was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean Conflict.  He retired from Kaiser Aluminum with 36 years of employment.  He enjoyed farming and was a member of the Mt. Hope Church of God.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Phyllis Kerns Grady; sons, Richard (Cookie) Grady and Randy (Kathy) Grady of Sandyville; daughters, Lisa (Rev. David) Hinzman of Sandyville and Linda (Steve) Donohew of Evans; brother, Lloyd Grady of Sandyville; sisters, Dorothy Grady and Hazel Tolley, both of Sandyville; his grandchildren, Alisha Wilson, Amanda Holbert, Ashley Grady, Crystal Harrison, Brent Grady, Hannah Grady, Michael Hinzman, Amber Curry, Matthew Hinzman, Stacy McCune, Mylinda Smith, Josh Donohew and Jeremy Donohew; great-grandchildren, Caleb Wilson, Grady Wilson, Kaitlyn Holbert, Levi Holbert, Hunter Harrison, Fisher Harrison, Warren Hunter, Brylee Hunter, Trenton Hunter, Charlie McCune, Nicc McCune, Bradley Smith and Autumn Smith.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Wetzel Stover.  Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley.  Rev. Creel Kerns and Rev. David Hinzman officiated.  Burial was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Sandyville.
