  <p>Information: Kenneth Ray Gorrell, of Sandyville, died in Jackson General Hospital after a long illness.  He was born in Jackson County, October 11, 1919, the son of the late Albert and Laura (Archer) Gorrell and was a member of the Independence United Methodist Church, Sandyville.  He was a retired employee of the State Department of Natural Resources and was a veteran of World War II.  He is survived by his wife, Sarah Ann Gorrell; daughters, Mrs. Karen Bowers of Lost Creek, Kendra Gorrell of St. Marys; son, Thomas Gorrell with the U.S. Air Force stationed in South Carolina; sisters, Mrs. Maxine Gates of Mechanicsville, Va., Mrs. Pauline Boggess of Sandyville, Mrs. Katheryn Anderson of Ripley; brothers, Charles Gorrell of Sandyville, Lawrence Gorrell of Philadelphia, Pa.; and three grandchildren.  Burial was in the Independence Cemetery.</p>
