  <p>Information: John Morgan Gorrell, died at his Fairview home.  He was the son of John Brown Gorrell, deceased and Maude Morgan Gorrell.  He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and a member of the Herman Lodge No. 6, A.M. and F.M. of Clarksburg and the Adoniram Chapter 11, Royal Arch Masons. He was formerly the Chief Deputy Assessor of Harrison County, and had served as the director of the Clay District Fair Association.  Survivors include his wife, Ethel Florence (Mamie) Evans Gorrell; four children, John Evans Gorrell, Ravenswood, Spec. 1/c Darrell K. Gorrell of the Army and serving in Bangkok, Thailand, Mrs. Lila L. Woofter, Anmore and Amy Beth Gorrell, at home, and eight grandchildren.  Burial was in the Floral Hills Memorial Garden in Clarksburg.  Graveside rites will be conducted by Herman Lodge No. 6 Order of the Masons.</p>
