Information: Harry D. Gorrell of Ravenswood died at Eldercare in Ripley Monday, after a long illness.  He was born at Murraysville, son of John W. and Fannie McKinley Gorrell.  He attended and was a 50-year member of the North United Methodist Church in Ravenswood, where he served as Superintendent, Trustee, member of the Administrative Board and other offices.  He served Jackson County as Commissioner from 1961-1969; and was a former membr and past president of the Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce.  He was a 44-year member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows No. 15 and a Past Noble Grand.  He was active in the Seniors Programs of Jackson Coutny; founder of Harry Gorrell Realty in 1965; was a retired Rural Letter Carrier after 33 years of service; and was a local homebuilding contractor.  He was the former owner and operator of the North End Market.  He is survived by his wife, Phnelma (Pam) Gorrell; sons, O. Ronald Gorrell of Colorado Springs, CO., A. Dayton Gorrell of Austin, TX; daughters, Mrs Donzel (Delores) Smith of Washington; step-daughter, Mrs. Larry (Sharon) Roush of Washington; stepson, Robert W. Evans of Phoenix, AZ: brother, Oscar Gorrell of Ravenswood; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Georgia Kelbaugh Gorrell in 1965; and three sisters and two brothers. Burial was in Ravenswood Cemetery.
