  <p>Information: CLARKSBURG - Mrs. Ethel Florence Gorrell, 89, of Rt. 2, Box 705-A, (94 Needham Street) Clarksburg WV, died Sunday, January 24, 1999 at the Heritage Nursing Home, following a brief illness.  She was born in Cottageville WV on November 5, 1909, a daughter of the late Pearl I. and Myrtle Hopkins Evans.  She was married August 12, 1927 to her husband, John M. Gorrell, who preceded her in death in 1969.  Surviving are two sons, John E. Gorrell of Ravenswood and Darrell K. Gorrell of Clarksburg WV; two daughters, Mrs. Lila Woofter Hunt of Orlando FL and Mrs. Lowell (Amy Beth) Maxey of Bridgeport WV; one sister, Mrs. Lucille Hamilton of Vienna WV; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Gorrell was preceded in death by two daughters, Coreen Jo Gorrell and Dixie Leachman and two grandsons, Mark Woofter and Jeffrey Maxey.  Mrs. Gorrell was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Our Savior on East Pike Street.  She was a member of the Daughters of America and the Pythian sisters.  She was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held Wednesday (today) at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Robert T. Horstman conducting the service.  Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, Clarksburg, was in charge of arrangements.</p>
