Information: Mrs. Elsie M. Gorrell of 609 Cross St., Belpre, formerly of Coolville, died in Camden Clark Memorial Hospital afte an extensive illness.  She was a native of Jackson County and a daughter of the late Henry H., and Sarah C. Wilson Finch. She was a member of Torch United Methodist Church and had been a Belpre resident the past six years.  Survivors include three sons, Omer L. Gorrell of Little Hocking, Howard H. Gorrell of Coolville, Sr. M/Sgr. Kenneth E. Gorrell of Lompoc, Cal.; three daughters, Mrs. Florence Simmons of Coolville, Mrs. Frances Lutz of Little Hocking and Mrs. Betty Cornell of Mineral Wells; one sister, Mrs. Lula Belle Shockey of Akron, O.; 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Gorrell.  Burial was in Torch Baptist Church Cemetery.
