  <p>Information: John Ball, son of Jessie and Lucinda Ball, was born in Noble County, Ohio, July 10, 1853, and peacefully passed away December 13, 1934.  He was united in marriage to Miss Rhoda Ellen Archer, of Noble Co., Ohio, on August 30, 1874.  Born to this union were five children:  Marshall, who died in September 1916;  Edward, who died in March 1927; Garfield Ball of Akron, Ohio; Louise Thompson of Rockport and A. F. Ball of Sandyville.  The companion and good Mother passed on to the better country on the 8th day of May, 1932.  Mother was converted at the age of ten, Father at the age of ten.  They wer married in Noble County, Ohio and moved into a log cabin on Pleasant Ridge and there they erected the family altar which stood the test for 63 years.  They moved to Jackson County 58 years ago.  They spent all these years on the little farm on the waters.......(rest of obituary missing)          (from the Betty Kessel McIntyre collection)</p>
