  <p>Information: Hubert Denzil Ball, 71, of Leroy, died Thursday at his home following a short illness.  He was born in Elizabeth, a son of the late Joseph Ellis and Elizabeth Grace Ball.  He was a retired auto mechanic and well tender for Hartman Oil & Gas, Parkersburg.  He is survived by his wife, Barbara Barker Ball; two stepsons, Richard Barker of Millwood, and Bobby Barker of Leroy; one daughter, Ruth Ann Ball Cumberledge of Silverton; three stepdaughters, Rhea Carvell of St. Petersburg, Fla., Barbara Hicks of Drennen, Katy Proctor of Virginia Beach, Va.; two brothers, Carl Ball of Akron, Ohio and Francis Ball of Ripley; one sister, Lilly Brown of Parkersburg; seven grandchildren.  Services were Saturday at Liverpool United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bud Vandergrif officiating.  Burial was in Liverpool Methodist Cemetery.  Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, was in charge of arrangements.</p>
