Information: IN MEMORIAM - Mrs. Orla Good was born September 19, 1897, died November 20, 1918, aged 21 years and 2 months.  Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Skeen, of Kenna, W. Va.  She was married to Delmer L. Good, July 4, 1916.  To this union was born one child, Fern Marie, a bright little girl of 18 months, who must henceforth go through life without a mother's love or a mother's guilding hand to lead the baby footsteps over the rugged and rocky places of life's pathway.  She is also survived by her husband, two sisters, Elva and Ada Skeen, and two brothers, Otho Skeen of Kenna, and Herbert Skeen of Ripley.      Orla was one of those who seem always inclined to do that which is right.  She was obedient to her parents, kind to her associates and beloved by all who knew her.  She was converted at the age of 15 years and by living a pure and upright christian life, she leaves an example that all would do well to follow.  It is hard to think that one so pure and so good should be taken away so young and right at the time when life seemed the brightest.  But all that loving hands and the best of medical skill could do was done, but without avail.  Her death was a great shock to her many friends who will mourn for her deeply.  She bore her sufferings bravely, telling all not to grieve for her for she was going home to live with God. Oh! how sad is the home now that Orla is gone and how hard it is to look upon the vacant chair knowing it will never again be occupied.  The funeral was conducted by Rev. J. R. Mundy, after which the body was carefully and tenderly laid away in the family cemetery to await the resurrection morn.   X.
