Information: James L. Goddard, 60, of Evans, died at home after a short illness.  He was a construction worker.  Surviving: mother, Ola Jones Goddard of Red House; sisters, Bertha Raymond of New Cumberland, Virginia Pinney of Chester, Iva Tucker of Hometown; brothers, Benton of Point Pleasant and Clayton of Red House.  Burial was in Shiloah Cemetery, Red House.
