  <p>Information:      GODBEY RITES HELD FRIDAY.  Aged Romance Resident Is Taken By Death After A Long Illness.  Nancy Ellen Godbey, 91 year old resident of Romance, died at her home here last Wednesday evening (September 24, 1952), after a long illness.  She was the widow of the late George Huston Godbey.  The funeral service was held from the Pleasant View church near Kenna on Friday afternoon, with the Rev. Jack Slater in charge and the burial was in the church cemetery.  The Parsons funeral directors were in charge of arrangements.  Mrs. Godbey was a native of Roane County where she was born March 1, 1861 and was a daughter of Joshua and Sara Gillenwater.  Survivors include a son, Everett Godbey of Romance; one daughter, Mrs. Malissa Skeen of Kenna; a sister, Mrs. Cindy White of Clay; 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. </p>
