Information: nMrs. Fannie E. Godbey, 87, of Ripley, formerly of Parkersburg, died Feb. 17, 1988, in Jackson General Hospital after a short illness.  She was a member of Parkview Methodist Church, Parkersburg.  Surviving:  sons, Rockford of Sacramento, Calif., Raymond of Canton, Ohio; daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Tippens and Mrs. Ruth Beckwith, both of Ripley, Mrs. Ruby Gravely of San Jose, Calif.; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.  Service was Saturday at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Harold Custer officiating.  Burial was in Parsons Cemetery, Gay.
