  <p>Information: Clarence Edward Godbey, 78, of Ripley, died April 11, 1992, at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, after a long illness.  He was retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. with 31 years&#39; service, a security guard at Ravenna Arsenal during World War II and an avid outdoorsman.  Surviving:  wife, Katheryn McPherson Godbey; son, William E. of Stow, Ohio; daughters, Deloris Howard of Akron, Ohio, Barbara Hively of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; foster sons, Charles Cross of Akron, Mitchell Myers of Ripley; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.  Service was Monday at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Armor Sayre officiating.  Burial was in Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville.</p>
