Information: Rites were held for Mrs. Bessie Virginia Godbey, 63, of 4010 12th Ave., who died at her home.  Burial was in Arlington Memorial Gardens.  Born at Gay, a daughter of the late Jacob and Eliza Johns Staats, she was the director of the Parkersburg High School cafeteria and had been associated with the cafeteria for the past 16 years.  Mrs. Godbey was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.  Survivors include her husband, Hoer Godbey; two sons, Donald Godbey, Parkersburg, Eugene Godbey, Hamilton, O., two brothers, Glen Staats, Gay, Ray Staats, Erie, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Tressie Winters, Charleston, Mrs. Fay Egan, Dayton, O., six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  One brother, one sister and one grandchild preceded her in death.
