Information: Funeral services for Mrs. Ora Dye Gilmore, 89, of Parkersburg, who died in St. Joseph's Holspital were conducted at the Ogdin Funeral Home, Parkersburg.  Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  She was the grandmother of Mrs. Sharolyn McCray of Ravenswood.  Born in Mason County, she was the daughter of the late John O. and Sarah Roush Dye, and was a member of the St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, the WSCS, the Naomi Circle, the Parkersburg Pioneer Daughters of America and a worthy matron of the Elizabeth Chapter Order of Eastern Star.  She had taught school for 38 years in Wirt and Washington Counties.  Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Carl M. Gainer and one son, Edwin A., both of Parkersburg; one sister, Mrs. Nora Parsons of Parkersburg; three grandchildren, Mrs. McCray, and James E. Gilmore of Mauldin, S.C. and Mrs Stephen Falkenbury of Memphis, Tenn.; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin A. Gilmore, and three brothers and three sisters.
