Information: GILLESPIE RITES HELD ON THURSDAY - Funeral services for Mrs. Addie May Gillespie, 86, wife of J. W. Gillespie, were held last Thursday afternoon with the Rev. I. J. McCollum in charge and the burial was in the Ravenswood Cemetery. Mrs. Gillespie died in a Parkersburg hospital on the previous Tuesday. The Vail undertakers had charge of the arrangements for the funeral and burial. Mrs. Gillespie, who was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Jane Jones, was born in the Creston community of Mason county on October 16, 1861. On July 8, 1903 she married Wallace Gillespie, prominent farmer of near Cottageville. She was a member of the Cottageville U. B. church and widely known in that section of the county. Surviving are the husband, two daughters, Lettie Gillespie of Ravenswood and Mrs. Raymond Warth of Millwood; two sons, William Gillespie of Ravenswood and Robert Gillespie of St. Charles, Minnesota; one step-son, Holly Gillespie of Huntington; three brothers, J. H. Jones of McKees Rock, Pa., C. H. Jones of Middleport, and Franklin Jones of Atlanta, Ga., and five sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Myer, Mrs. Dorothy Myer and Mrs. Ross Sickles, all of Columbus, Mrs. G. I. Cullen of Alexandria, Indiana and Mrs. Lora Greenlee of Leon.
