Information: Clerc Flinn Gibbs, 87, of Washington, WV, died Saturday at the Worthington Manor Care Center following a long illness.  He was born in Ravenswood, a son of the late William I. and Artie Flinn Gibbs.  He was a Methodist by faith and had worked for 46 years as a telegraph operator for the Ohio River Division of the B & O Railroad before his retirement in 1968.  He was a member of the Parkersburg Masonic Lodge No. 169 AF & AM and the Scottish Rite Bodies.  He is survived by his wife, Alice C. Polk Gibbs; one daughter, Carol Guinn of Washington; one granddaughter, Brenda Linsell of Vienna; two great-granddaughters, Tia and Courtney Gollehon of Vienna; one great-grandson, Christopher Linsell of Vienna; and one sister, Garnet Howell of Ravenswood.  He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.  Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Ogdin Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lehman Channel officiating.  Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery, Parkersburg, with graveside services conducted by Masonic Lodge No. 169 AF & AM.
