  <p>Information: SANDYVILLE - Debra D. Riggs Balis, 47, of Sandyville, died Monday, June 12, 2006, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital following a long battle with cancer.  She was born in Ripley, the daughter of Patricia Jane Dailey Riggs and the late Lewis Edwin Riggs.  She was a member of the Sandyville Church of Christ and a homemaker.  Survivors include her husband, Paul Balis; son, Edwin Balis (Patty) of Sandyville; daughter, April Dawn Balis of Sandyville; father, Charles Braniff of Sandyville; sisters, Eva Virginia Westfall (Edith) of Leroy, Althea Jean Hess (Rob) of Sandyville; grandson Austin Hunter Balis of Sandyville; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis E. Riggs; sister, Vanessa Jane Staats and grandparents, Clarence and Lalia Eva Riggs and Amos and Juanita Dailey, all of Sandyville.  Service will be today June 15, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home in Ripley with burial in Independence Cemetery in Sandyville.</p>
