  <p>Information: Bernice Grace Gerlach, 79, of Fairplain WV, departed this life, Thursday, August 15, 2002, in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, following an extended illness.  She was born February 19, 1923, in Evans WV, a daughter of the late Erkie Otis and Minnie Belle Livingston Stover.  She was a homemaker, a Protestant, and had made her home at the Ravenswood Care Center for the past five years.  Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis Wayne and Brenda Gerlach of Hamlin; daughter and son-in-law, Reva Jo and Larry Lewis of Fairplain; brother, Boyd Stover of Evans; sisters, Maxine Baillie of Union WV and Mary Belle Cain of Columbus OH; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bennie L. Gerlach; brother, Melvin Stover; sisters, Irene Murray and Mildred Sayre.  Private family graveside services were held on Sunday at the Creston Cemetery, Evans WV with Rev. Herman Jordan officiating.  Arrangements by Casto Funeral Home, Evans WV.</p>
