  <p>Information: Denzel R. Garrett, 74, of Dunbar, died at home after a long illness.  He was born and reared at Kentuck, the son of the late Clare and Bessie Garrett.  He was a graduate of Ripley High School.  He was a retired administrator and principal with Kanawha County Board of Education.  He was a member of Kanawha Lodge AF & AM, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and Beni Kedem Shrine.  He was a 40-year member of Kiwanis Club and was a 1938 graduate of Glenville State College where he was a member of the student council.  He was a 1941 graduate of Duke University where he received his master&#39;s degree in education.  Surviving: wife, Cybel M. ""Cavender"" Garrett; daughter, Mrs. Rosemary Warner of Wheeling, Mrs. Sharon Lee Parson of Richmond, Va.; brother, Denver C. of Charleston; two grandchildren  Burial was in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens with Masonic graveside rites.</p>
