  <p>Information: Ernest C. ""Ernie"" Garretson, 63, of Wilding, died March 1, 1988, in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, following an extended illness.  He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Frank James and Dillie Meadows Garretson.  He was a Protestant and retired from Kaiser Aluminum, Ravenswood, following 25 years of service.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.  He is survived by his wife, Hazel Marcella Elliott Garretson; three sons, Timothy of Ravenswood, Greg of Portland, Ohio, and Larry Garretson of Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters, Sandy Hupp and Sue Collins, both of Ravenswood; brother, Earl of Missouri; sisters, Lurline Cobb of Columbus, Ohio, and Elah Noll of Ravenswood; and six grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one brother.  Services were Friday at Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Rev. Allen Johnson officiating.  Burial was in Jackson Memory Gardens, Cottageville, with Masonic rites.</p>
