Information: Clemit Mickey Garnes Sr., 65, of Charleston, died July 6, 1994, at General Division, CAMC, after a short illness. He was a retired production supervisor for Union Carbide and a member of the Praisemen Quartet. He was a charter member of Fisher Memorial Church, Goldtown, and a member of South Charleston Masonic Lodge 168, Scottish Rite Bodies and Beni Kedem Shrine, Charleston. He was an Air Force veteran. Surviving: wife Azealease Garnes; sons, C. Mickey Jr. of Charleston, Marco of Kenna; daughters, Mitzi Garnes of Charleston, Melea Garnes, at home; sisters, Barbara Clendenin of Pliny, Geraldine Broce of Virginia, Frances Knight of Florida; two grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Fisher Memorial Church, Goldtown, with the Rev. Jerry Bonnett officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Gardens of Memories, Pocatalico. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today and one hour prior to service at the church. Long-Fisher Funeral Home, Pocatalico, is in charge of arrangements.
