  <p>Information: William Foley Gandee, Sr., 65, passed away July 12, 2012.  He was a native of Sandyville WV, and was a resident of Newport News VA.  He was retired from the Carpenters Union as a foreman after over 30 years of service.  He was a Purple Heart recipient of the Marines while serving in Vietnam as well as many other military awards.  Bill was also a memer of the VFW organization.  He is survived by his two children, Teresa Draheim of Gloucester Point VA, William Gandee of Hayes VA; five grandchildren, Stefanie, Blake, Alexis, Brandon, Sebastian; five brothers, Danny, Tom, Steve, Dave, and Rick; and three sisters, Cheryl Sandy, Connie Kay, and Debbie Stover.  There will be a graveside service held in his hometown of Sandyville WV at 11 am on Friday, July 20th, 2012 at the Independence Cemetery, open to all.  Peninsula Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.</p>
