  <p>Information: Gerald E. Gandee, 52, of Ripley, died Saturday in Pocahontas Memorial Hospital, Marlinton, after a short illness.  He was born Jan. 7, 1934.  He was a construction worker for United Engineers, and a member of the Laborers&#39; Union.  Surviving:  wife, Mrs. Betty Gandee; sons, Jerry and James, both of Ripley, Gary of Plano, Texas; daughters, Mrs. Beverly Wells of Sandyville, Mrs. Barbara Rhodes of Chattanooga, Tenn., Miss Brenda Gandee of Plano; brothers, Harold of Ripley and Edwin of Fairplain; sisters, Mrs. Mildred Miller of Ripley and Mrs. Eloise Isner of Elkins; one grandchild, Matthew Fridley of Ripley.  Service was Tuesday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Orland Reynolds officiating.  Burial was in Fairplain Cemetery.</p>
