Information: Mrs. Charlotte Kapp Friese, widow of Frank Friese, died at her home near Evans on April 22, after a short illness from pneumonia.  She was 86 years, two months and 12 days of age at the time of her death.  Mrs. Friese was born at Strausburg, France in 1845, in that territory which has been successively under French and German control and now under the French government.  She came with her parents to America at the age of two years and for a time resided with them in Pittsburgh.  When she was about fifteen years of age, she came with them to the Little Mill section where they settled about 1860.  There she grew to womanhood and in 1868 married Frank Friese.  She is survived by the following children:  John A. and W. H. Friese of Evans, G. F. Friese of Florida, Mrs. S. W. Sullivan of Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Mary Wicher of Cincinnati, Mrs. C. Purrell of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, and Mrs. J. H. Williams of Florida, One daughter, Mrs. Edwin Gerlach, died about five years ago.  Early in life, Mrs. Friese professed Christianity and lived a life of service to her master.  When she realized that death was not far off she told those assembled about her that she ""was ready to go when the Father called"".  The funeral services were held at Crescent, Mason county, on April 25, and interment followed in the cemetery there.
