Information:   French, Chester Raymond                 Funeral services for Chester Raymond French, 42 year old Given resident and World War II veteran, who died in a hospital at Richmond, Virginia on Sunday, will be held from the Emma Chapel Church this Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Hobson D. Fisher and Rev. Vaughn Fisher officiating and the burial will be in the church cemetery.  Funeral arrangements were handled by the Parsons Funeral Home of Ripley.  The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Omal Painter French of Given; his mother, Mrs. Janie French of Londonderry, Ohio; three brothers, Fred of Wellston, Ohio, Charles of Londonderry, Ohio and Rex of Columbus; seven sisters, Mrs. Dora Martin of Londonderry, Mrs. Corda Patrick of Arthur, Mrs. Kate Rhodes of Columbus, Mrs. Myrtle Cabus of Columbus, Mrs. Ruby Climber of Ohio, Mrs. Hazel Romio of Ohio and Gracie Hixon.  (Friday, 2 Dec 1949) French, Chester Raymond                 Chester Raymond French, son of Ballard and Janie Sargent French, was born at Given April 6, 1907 and departed this life November 27, 1949 at McGuire Veterans Hospital, Richmond, Va., at the age of 42 years, 7 months and 21 days.  He  was united in marriage to Omal Painter on December 14, 1940, who survives.  He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Janie French of Londonderry, Ohio; three brothers and seven sisters, Fred of Wellston, Ohio, Charles of Londonderry, Ohio, Rex of Columbus, Cordie Patrick of Athens Ohio, Dora Martin of Londonderry, Myrtle Cabus of Columbus, Hazel Renny of Ray, Ohio, Gracie Hixon of Londonderry and Ruby Climer of Lockeburn, Ohio, and a host of other relatives.  His father preceded him in death eight year ago.  Mr. French entered the US.
