Information: Mila Margaret ""Sis"" Fox, 92, of Cottageville, Jackson County, passed away November 7, 2010. She was born August 5, 1918, in Cottageville, a daughter of the late Levi Andrew and Lizzie Belle (Stewart) Baier. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Glenmer O. Fox; brothers, Eugene, Cecil, Herman, Earley, and Harry Baier and a sister Eva (Baier) Thomas. She and her late husband were the founders, owners and operators of G. O. Fox Garage and John Deere dealership in Cottageville. She was active in local politics, served as a poll worker for many years, and was a former clerk for the West Virginia State Legislature. Survivors include her son, Ernest K. Fox and his wife Etta Lou; daughter and her husband, Barbara June and Richard McCoy; grandchildren, Jeffrey McCoy, Kimberly McCoy, Christopher McCoy, Melissa (McCoy) Higgins, and Michael Fox; great-grandchildren, Phillip McCoy, Eric McCoy, Bree McCoy, Michael McCoy and Joe Higgins. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the Fairview Cemetery, Cottageville. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans WV. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to : Amedisys Hospice, 417 Grand Park Ave., Parkersburg WV 26105.
