Information: Funeral services for Joseph Edgar Fox were conducted at the Otterbein United Brethren church Monday afternoon with Rev. Roy Davis in charge and burial followed in the church cemetery.  On March 22, 1911, he was united in marriage to Clara Sayre and to this union four children were born, Glemmer and Joe, of Cottageville, Otmer of Angerona, and one daughter, Mabel, at home.  These children, with their mother, all survive as well as two grandchildren, Ernest Keith and Carolyn Faye Fox.  Also surviving are his father and mother, John and Ella (Hughes) Fox, one sister, Mrs. Virgil Sayre of Evans and five brothers, Theodore of Akron, Ohio, Jesse of Dunbar and Dencil, Everett and John, all of Evans.  Otho, infant brother, preceded him in death.  After an illness of two years which he bore with the greatest of patience and fortitude, he passed from this earth expressing his willingness and readiness to go.  [Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]
