  <p>Information: Joseph Edgar Fox, 79, of Evans, died Oct. 1, 1997, at the Charleston Area Medical Center&#39;s Memorial Division, Charleston.  He was born in Angerona, WV, a son of the late Joseph Edgar and Clara Sayre Fox.  He was co-owner and operator of J & E Trucking, Evans, a former member of Cottageville Volunteer Fire Department and was a charter member of Jackson County Horse Club, Inc.  He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church where he was trustee, Sunday School teacher and superintendent for several years.  Following the closing of Otterbein Church, he attended Antioch Community Church, where he was Sunday School teacher.          Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Margaret Nichols McCloud Fox of Evans; three sons, Jerald ""Sonny"" Fox of Evans, Alvin Fox of Cottageville and David Fox of Fairmont; two stepsons, Clair McCloud of Jackson, Ohio and Robert McCloud of Terre Haute IN; one stepdaughter, Judy Frazier of Ripley; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ethel Ankrum; two daughters, Carolyn Fox and an infant daughter; two brothers, Glemmer Fox and Otmer ""Bus"" Fox; and one sister, Mabel Sayre.  Services were Friday, Otterbein United Methodist Church, Evans, the Rev. Gerald B. Sayre officiating.  Burial in the church cemetery.  Casto Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.</p>
