Information: Gladys Opal (Hunt) Fox, 89, of Ravenswood, formerly of Dunbar and Evans, passed away February 26, 2011, at Jackson General Hospital following a brief illness.  She was born August 1, 1921, in Vienna and was a daughter of the late Waldo and Beatrice Velma (Sayre) Hunt.  Her husband, C. O. ""Buss"" Fox; brothers, Everette, Robert, and Waldo, Jr.; and a sister, Eleanor, also preceded her in death.  She was a graduate of Union High School, Cottageville, and was the owner and operator of 23rd Street Grocery, Dunbar, for many years.      Surviving are her sons and their wives, Herman and Norma Jean Fox of Ravenswood, Ivan and Beth Fox of Dunbar; grandchildren, Terri Welling and her husband, Troy of Given and Zachary Fox and Joshua Fox, both of Dunbar; great-grandchildren, Trista Adams and Derek Adams of Given; sisters, Garnet Cottrell of Cleveland Ohio and Kathryn Casto of Ravenswood; and several nieces and nephews.  Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, in Otterbein Cemetery, Evans, with the Rev. Gerald B. Sayre officiating. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Casto Funeral Home, Evans.
