Information: Mrs. Helen Brown Fowler, 94, of Ravenswood, died at the Jackson General Hospital Extended Care Center in Ripley Tuesday after a long illness.  She was born in The Cedars, Ravenswood, daughter of the late Charles L. and Frances Tarr Brown.  She was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Ravenswood and the Jackson County Historical Society.  Her maternal grandfather, Campbell Tarr was the state's first treasurer and her paternal grandfather was Judge Robert Brown.  She is survived by a daughter, Miss Elizabeth Fowler of Ravenswood.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Fowler in 1967.  The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Grace Episcopal Church in Ravenswood with the Rev. Samuel W. Tinsley III officiating.  Burial will be in the Ravenswood Cemetery.  Straight-Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
