Information:   Mrs. Helen Brown Fowler, 94, of Ravenswood, died on Christmas Day in the extended care section at Jackson General Hospital after a long illness.    She was born at her family home, The Cedars in North Ravenswood, the daughter of the Honorable Charles L. and Frances Tarr Brown.  She was the granddaughter of Judge Robert S. and Anna Wells Brown.  Her maternal grandfather, Campbell Tarr, was the first treasurer of West Virginia.   She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Ravenswood, and the Jackson County Historical Society.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hansen Fowler in 1967.   Her daughter, Elizabeth is her only survivor.   Services were held at Grace Episcopal Church with the Rev. Samuel W. Tinsley III officiating.  Burial was in the Ravenswood Cemetery.  Straight-Tucker Funeral Home in Ravenswood was in charge of arrangements.
