Information: Conrad Fourney, 48, of Boise, ID, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2007, in a kayaking accident on the north fork of the Payette River.  He ws born July 14, 1959, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Phil and Betty Jean Fourney of Ravenswood.  Conrad was passionate about boating.  He began kayaking and rafting on the New River and Gauley River, both in West Virginia.  He paddled in Costa Rica, Chile, and Zambia before owning a rafting comapny in Banks, ID, in the 1990's.  He was a devoted father who played and explored life with his son, Noah.  They camped, skied and hiked throughout the Northwest.  Noah enjoyed making breakfast and coffee for his dad.  Conrad loved taching Noah and instilling in him his love for the outdoors.  In addition to his mother, survivors include his longtime partners Cynthia Fairfax of Boise, ID; son Noah Bader-Fourney; brothers Edward Fourney of Beckley, Andy Fourney of Sacramento, CA and Paul Fourney of Hiram, GA and sister Martha Fourney of Cross Lanes.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by hisbrother Todd Fourney.
