Information: Mrs. Macil Flowers, 77, of East Liverpool, Ohio, died Sunday, January 9, at a Massillion Ohio hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Flowers was born Nov. 25, 1899 at Ripley, a daughter of James M. Landfried and Mary E. Boice Landfried. She spent most of her life in East Liverpool. She was a member of the Salvation Army and the Grace United Presbyterian Church. Surviving: son, Gene of Marrero, La.; daughters Mrs. John (Mary Margaret) Call, Mrs. Cecil (Alma) McKinnon, Mrs. Joseph (Elah) Daniels, all of East Liverpool, Ohio, Mrs. Frank (Betty) Hamon of Tiffon, Ohio; sisters, Mrs. Elah Murray and Mrs. Lelia Garrett, both of Ripley; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Flowers, in 1938, and a brother, Cleophas Landfried, in 1975. Services were held Wednesday, January 12, at Dawson Funeral Home, East Liverpool, Ohio, with the Rev. Clark Allison officiating. Burial was in Spring Grove Cemetery, East Liverpool, Ohio.
